Value Hunter

In Lebanon, many of my friends embrace the early dawn, traversing valleys and scaling mountains in pursuit of birds—a pastime that has always puzzled me. This leads me to ponder: what am I truly hunting? Is it success, fame, or perhaps happiness?

What I have come to realize is that my pursuit is about seeking value. As I approach my 50s, I understand now that creating value is fundamental to experiencing the beauty of life. By prioritizing value, I find greater happiness in my everyday existence.

Emotional value enhances my ability to love deeply and appreciate life’s little moments. On a spiritual level, seeking value frees my mind, allowing me to embrace life’s challenges with acceptance and grace. Even a simple smile carries value! Hope brings liberation, while patience helps to cleanse our souls. I have also come to treasure the power of prayer, connecting me with the vibrant universe around me.

Ultimately, value is our guide; it instructs us on how to live and how to love.
